The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe is one of the best selling amps of all time, and with our mod kit, can be made to live up to it's full potential with just a few dollars and a few minutes of work. Our mod kit includes all the necessary parts and detailed instructions. Only basic soldering skills and the ability to identify a few components on the included PCB layout are required. With the mod kit, the following will be improved or corrected:

  • Clarity improvement on both Normal and Drive channels
  • Better master volume usability
  • Reduced attenuation on Drive channel
  • Improved reverb performance
  • Tightened low end response/less "flabbiness"

Notes: Performing these modifications WILL void the warranty on your amplifier. Working on amps can be deadly if you do not take proper precautions. Follow the instructions very carefully. Basic soldering skills are required. If you are at all unsure of your ability to perform these modifications STOP and take your amp to a professional to be modified.
