Many typical rectifier boards/circuits use only cheap 1N4007 diodes. Our Premium Rectifier board includes a lot more.
UF4007 diodes provide much faster switching/recovery time. The 470K resistors keep the voltage across the diodes balanced preventing premature diode failure. The .01uF@2000V capacitors help protect the diodes from the voltage spikes which can occur as the amp is switched on and off, or from irregular mains voltages.
Easy to install in any amp that uses a fullwave rectifier for B+. Includes installation diagram. Can also replace, be switched to, or run parallel (diode steering) to a tube rectifier.
